Licensed Psychologist  ·  Pennsylvania & New York  ·  Bilingual: English & Spanish

Dr. Eder-Moreau, founder and CEO of Vela Psychological Services, completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Fordham University. She completed her clinical training at leading academic medical centers, including Brown University's Alpert Medical School, Boston University School of Medicine, and Harvard Medical School. She has worked at institutions across the Northeast, assisting individuals with a wide range of stressors and diagnoses including Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, and Serious Mental Illness. She has worked with people in partial hospital, outpatient, and primary care settings, allowing her to treat a wide range of clinical concerns with depth and precision.

She has particular expertise in women's mental health, including perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, as well as trauma-related conditions. Her fellowship at Brown University centered on helping women with more serious presentations of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders to begin to gain stability and feel like themselves again in very little time. Her approach integrates evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), and mindfulness-based interventions, tailored to each individual's needs.

In addition to therapy, Dr. Eder-Moreau specializes in psychological and psychodiagnostic assessment across the lifespan. She has extensive training in cognitive, personality, and diagnostic testing and is known for producing thoughtful, nuanced evaluations that provide clarity and direction for treatment, educational planning, and major life decisions.

Her work is informed by a strong multicultural perspective and extensive experience working with diverse populations, including immigrants and individuals navigating complex life transitions. She is committed to providing care that is both clinically rigorous and deeply attuned to each person's cultural and personal context.

Before becoming a psychologist, Dr. Eder-Moreau worked internationally in project management, an experience that continues to inform her structured, thoughtful, and collaborative approach to clinical care.

Dr. Eder-Moreau sees clients in person and via telehealth on the Main Line — including Bryn Mawr, Ardmore, Haverford, Wayne, and Villanova — and virtually across Pennsylvania, New York, and 40+ PSYPACT states.
